CashHere was collecting and using banking login credentials for a purpose that a reasonable person would not consider appropriate. OPC accepted that online banking credentials could be effective in allowing CashHere to address its legitimate need to validate identity and obtain credible and verified income history, in order to make a lending decision and manage loan repayment.
